Odd Matter Force

A portal to hell has opened, and must be closed from the other side. This is the only way to stop the onslaught of demons that is ravaging the earth. No human can withstand the infernal hellscape, and so we have built an army of robots that will plunge into its depths, gather information, and close the portal.

You are machines, destined for greatness.

Odd Matter Force is a roleplaying game primarily inspired by Cybermetal 2012 by Adam Vass, made for the Dice Exploder Game Exploder Jam 2024. This is a game remixing the SOFTWARE mechanic from Cybermetal 2012.

Odd Matter Force is designed for a single session of play for 2-4 hours. You will need

• Two or three players, and one person willing to be their Guide.
• Printouts of robot sheets for each play and all the software, folded properly.
• Pencils.
• Two Ten Sided Dice (or d10’s) per player.
• Two Six Sided Dice (or d6’s)
